Fire & Water - Cleanup & Restoration

Demolition after a storm and flooding.

This restaurant in Hurricane, Utah had significant damage from flooding.

Flood water causes problems because of the contaminates it carries from the outside. In order to keep the clientele of the restaurant healthy it was necessary to remove items that could be retaining contaminates. Items removed were:

  • Carpets - Too risky to clean
  • Carpet pad - Soaks up contaminated water
  • Wooden benches - The wood swells and takes on contaminated flood water
  • Wet drywall - Cut 12 inches above the flood line.

Items that can be cleaned are non-porous building materials and items. Any tile or concrete flooring can be cleaned and disinfected. Along with metal items such as shelves or tubs.
