What to do if you get flooding in your restaurant?

Flooding caused this restaurant to be shut down for several days. The drying and cleaning process had to be completed prior to its reopening. Here are some flood tips to get your restaurant open quickly.

• Stack anything higher and out of the water. Less replacement items means opening business quicker.
• Have a restoration company provide mitigation services of water extraction and drying. Drying can take up to seven days depending on the building materials that are wet.
• Contact your insurance company and schedule an adjuster visit. Adjusters are very busy and it may take a day or two for them to meet with you.
